In my early days of tech support (before wifi) I will always remember the very first call I got on my very first day:
Customer: “Why doesn’t my email work?”
Me: “Could you go to [url] so we can see what the problem is?”
Customer: “No, I unplugged the internet cable, because that is how you get viruses.”
Five years later, they moved the entire department overseas. God help those poor Indians and Filipinos…
