Some Complaints Come At You From Left-Field

I’m discussing a work matter with my manager at the reception desk. My coworker is on the phone with a guest but then calls over my manager.

Manager: “What is it?”

Coworker: “I need you to take this one.”

Manager: “Did they ask to speak to a manager?”

Coworker: “Well, no, but she’s complaining that we, and I quote, ‘assigned me a room set up for left-handed people.’”

My manager pinches his nose, sighs, and takes the phone.
