Soda-pressing

(One of my friends, Friend #1, has an obsession with McDonald’s. He usually goes before school, always during lunch, occasionally after school and sometimes even for dinner. Our school was closed the previous day due to a mass shooting in the community and we’re discussing what we did during the day off with a few other friends.)

Friend #2: “So, what did you guys do during the off day?”

Me: “I got caught up on sleep.”

Friend #3: “I did my homework.”

Friend #4: “I played video games all day.”

Friend #1: *extremely proudly* “I went to McDonald’s and stayed there all day long. I got yelled at because I refilled my soda at least ten times.”
