Showing Unreal Growth

(I volunteer at an after school program for young, elementary school aged children. Recently we asked the age 8-10 kids what they want to be when they grow up. These were our favorite responses.)

Kid #1: “When I grow up, I want to be a Ninja Turtle!”

Kid #2: “I want to be Liam Neeson and marry Lady Gaga!”

Kid #3: “I want to be an astronaut so I can find a race of peaceful aliens, conquer them, and rule over them as their leader!”

Kid #4: “When I grow up, I want to be a hobo!”

Kid #5: “I don’t want to grow up. I want to be my daddy’s princess forever!”
