Should Kili Off A Character

(I’m female, sitting with a female friend, talking about how we’re looking forwards to the last Hobbit film coming out.)

Me: “I think we should go see it in costume!”

Friend: “I’d be up for that. I’ve got red hair, I should go as… oh… I’ve forgotten the name.”

Me: “Gloin?”

Friend: “I meant the red haired elf lady! You know, ‘Not-in-the-book-iel.'”

Me: “Oops. Sorry, it’s just, I was going to go as Kili, you see…”
