The Cat Is Branching Out

(We’ve had some windy storms, leaving some rather large branches in our back yard. I’m sitting in the living room while my husband is in the kitchen. He opens our back door to let one of the cats out.)

Husband: “You should take the branches to the front of the house since I’m letting you out.”

Me: “Did you just tell the cat to move the branches?”

Husband: “No! I ASKED him!”
