Unfiltered Story #18595
I go outside to leave for the hour long drive to head to a funeral and notice one of my tires is flat. After calling a tow truck I leave in a hurry grabbing my purse. After a short wait at the tire shop they tell me the total for patching the tire and while digging for my wallet I see it is nowhere to be found.
Apologizing profusely I offer to walk to my apartment, a 40 minute walk both ways, and the tech asks if I have cash. After digging for all of my spare change I find I am a little over $10 short of the $25 charge. After I offer again to walk to my apartment the tech says he will take what I have.
Thank you for making my day a little less bleak. I have lost a lot of family members and maybe you took pity when you saw I was on the verge of tears.
