Shh! That’s The Secret!

I worked at Victoria’s Secret for years and got lots of dumb questions. The one that stands out most:

Me: “I’m sorry, ma’am, we’re out of your size in the color you want.”

Customer: “Can you check in the back?”

I go back for her even though I know we’re out of stock. I come back and tell her as much.

Customer: “While you were back there, you could have at least asked the people in the back how long it would take to make one for me!”
