Sheldon Cooper Dating Amy Farrah-Fowler

| Romantic | May 21, 2012

(My boyfriend and I are trying to work through an issue in relationship. Part of the problem is that we are having trouble understanding how the other person thinks and feels in regard to this particular issue.)

Me: “I’ve found that really thinking about the way I think, has helped me figure out how to explain how I feel about this.”

Boyfriend: “Yeah, I think I’m starting to understand what you’re getting at. Maybe I should try it, too.”

Me: “Do you think we should come up with a list of things we should think about on our own and then report back to each other?”

(We end up making a short list of questions we have about the way that we think and feel about the issue. We agree to analyze them by ourselves and then report any findings. As we wrap up the conversation, I realize something.)

Me: “Did we just give ourselves homework for the next time we talk?”

Boyfriend: “I think so.”

Me: “Only us, I guess!”
