Shampoo-Pooing The Whole Purchase Process
I work in a store that sells bath and body items… that work. There was a deal happening that was like five shampoo and conditioners for $35. I’m on the store floor, restocking said shampoos.
Customer: “Oh, that’s a great deal!”
Me: “Yes, it is!”
The customer takes five shampoos, and then tries to hand me three tens and a five.
Me: “Uh, you can pay at the register.”
Customer: “But, I’m paying you now.”
Me: “I can’t take that here. You need to pay at the register.”
Customer: “But, I’m just trying to pay now. Why can’t I just give you the cash?”
Me: “Because this is a large superstore and not a flea market. The registers need to calculate tax and take the items off our inventory.”
Customer: “Just take the money now, and you can do all that later.”
Me: “No.”
Customer: “Well then, I don’t want it!”
They haphazardly put the shampoos back into the pile, knocking more over on purpose.
Customer: “They look cheap anyway!” *Storms out.*
