Seriously Cheesed Off With New Management

(I work at a pizza place in my small town. Extra cheese is not considered a topping, and to add it, it costs about $2. Some customers get upset over this, and this happens when we have a visiting manager.)

Customer: “Hi. I just picked up this pizza and it says I have a $2 charge for extra cheese?”

Manager: “Oh, yes. If you order extra cheese it is about $2 more.”

Customer: “I thought it was included in [three topping special].”

Manager: “I am very sorry about that, but extra cheese is not considered a topping as cheese is already on the pizza.”

Customer: *suddenly angry* “This is bulls***! I came here to pick up a pizza for my son and you won’t give me the d*** cheese?!

Manager: “I’m very sorry, ma’am, but it is company policy to charge extra for this.”

Customer: *starts to leave* “I am not coming back here until the old manager comes back. F*** you.” *flips the manager off*

(We all had a good laugh about it, but it’s crazy how customers will go crazy over a small amount of cheese. I didn’t work there for that long after, but I never did see the woman again.)
