My dad used to be a police officer. When he worked Sundays, he would occasionally meet up with us at a restaurant for brunch.
One time, we were seated, and a family was leaving with a child about four or five. He looked at my dad in his uniform and then looked at his parents.
Child: “I didn’t know they ate!”
The embarrassed parents hustled the kid out the door as we cracked up.
Dad: “We even fart, too!”
