Search Your Feelings, You Know Them To Be True

(My boyfriend and I have only recently started to say “I love you” to each other after being together for four years.)

Me: “I love you.”

Boyfriend: “I know.”

Me: “When you say that, do you mean it like Han Solo’s “I love you too” kind of “I know”, or just that you are aware of my feelings?”

Boyfriend: “A little of both.”

Me: “I can live with that.”
