Say Yes To Save Your Sanity

Customer: *Shows me a tube of grease* “I used to use a [Brand] that I bought a long, long time ago. I can’t seem to find it here, but I found this one. It’s a silicone grease that’s clear. Do you know if it’s the same as the [Brand] I used to use?”

[Brand] is a major manufacturer of adhesives, sealants, and greases. I couldn’t tell you how many different types they manufacture, let alone which one this random customer MAY have used.

Me: “Well, I can try to find out. Do you happen to know which model or series number?”

Customer: “No, I left my tube at home. It works great, though! Is this like it?”

Me: “…Yes?”
