Rich + Crazy = Eccentric

(A very eccentric member of family had passed away. One of my sisters-in-law has gone to help clear out his possessions of his rented flat.)

Sister-In-Law: “I was trying to check the walls and cupboards for secret compartments but Dad wouldn’t let me. I’m sure he had money and papers hidden. It would have been nice to find some for [His Partner]. He left her with nothing.”

Dad: “Oh, come on. No one is that crazy.”

Me: “The man hid the phone in the microwave because he was sure the neighbors broke in every night to use it.”

Dad: “Oh, I forgot that. It’s too late now. I already handed the keys in.”
