Reception Has Been Rather Crappy Lately…

I used to work for a cable company at their retail counter. Someone came in to return the cable box from a relative who had passed. It was CAKED in dried animal (I hope) feces. I doubt it had been functional in ages because the air vents couldn’t even be seen, so I’m sure the insides were coated, as well.

We just assumed it was the correct unit because we weren’t digging through that to find the serial number. I held out a plastic bag and made the customer place it inside. I wasn’t touching that for $8 an hour.
