Ready To Throw In The a Towel

(A conversation with my best friend has turned to animal intelligence.)

Best Friend: “It’s been said you can see how smart a dog is by dropping a towel over their head. If they get it off fast, they’re pretty smart. If it takes a little longer, they’ve got average brains.”

(He proceeds to demonstrate by dropping a hand towel on his two dogs’ heads, which they promptly shake off. Then, he drops it over mine.)

Me: “Hey!” *I yank the towel off quickly* “Cuuuute.”

(We both start laughing, because according to the Chinese Zodiac I was born in the Year of the Dog.)
