Rage Against The Machine, Part 2

(I’m the weird coworker in this story. I’m tiny, quiet, and painfully shy, and I share a room in my office with a very kind and easy-going coworker. One day my mobile phone starts ringing. I pick up my phone.)

Robot Scammer: “We cannot respond to your call. Please, call us back at [premium number] or…”

Me: “F*** YOU!”

(I hung up the phone and I realize my coworker is staring at me. She never saw me swear before.)

Me: “Sorry. I just can’t stand those robot scammers!”

Coworker: “I understand. I didn’t know you could say that!”

(I know there’s no point in insulting a robot. It felt good, though.)
