Making Tom Pee Himself

(My mother comes from South America, so she doesn’t understand English expressions much. She’s changing her clothes in her room when I’m talking to her.)

Me: “Mom, you shouldn’t change your clothes in front of the window like that.”

Mom: “Why?”

Me: “What if a peeping Tom were there? He’d see everything!”

Mom: “Pee peeing Tom? What is that?!”

Me: “It’s someone who stares in people’s windows and takes pictures of them. Then he’ll put your picture on the Internet!”

(My mother puts her shirt on while thinking about this. Then suddenly, she turns to face the window, and throws her shirt open.)

Mom: “Wah! Take that, pee peeing Tom!”
