(We are college freshmen watching our team’s away game on TV in the dorm. We are talking about security with football players when we get on the subject of whether they worry about the players carrying weapons.)
Student #1: “Like someone would really have a knife in their football uniform.”
Student #2: “They checked our uniforms for knives every game when I was in high school.”
Student #1: “What the heck? Where are you from? Detroit?”
Student #2: “…Yes.”
Student #1: “Oh.”
