Have Been Weighting A Long Time

(I haven’t seen my boyfriend in months due to him being busy with work. When he is finally able to come for a visit, I leap into his arms as soon as he gets out of his truck. Note: I am very petite.)

Me: *clinging tightly* “YAY! I missed you!”

(He takes a step back to keep his balance.)

Boyfriend: “You’re a little heavier than I remember.”

(I lean away and narrow my eyes at him.)

Boyfriend: *clears his throat* “Ah, I mean… uh…”
