Patching Up The Holes In Their Relationship

| Romantic | August 19, 2013

(My fiancé hardly ever buys new clothing, and keeps his clothes until they fall apart. Every once in a while, he lets me throw out some older clothing so I can buy him new stuff.)

Fiancé: “Hey honey, guess what I did today?”

Me: “Cleaned?”

Fiancé: “Sort of, I cleaned some stuff out of my closet! I have room for new clothes!”

Me: “Awesome! What did you chuck this time?”

Fiancé: “Well… those old dress pants that don’t fit… a few old shirts with holes in them.”

Me: “Wait! You didn’t get rid of your bunny shirt, did you?”

Fiancé: “My what?”

Me: “The green shirt you wore when we went to the pet store for the first time. I remember we were both holding bunnies, and yours started to chew on your shirt. It left a tiny hole in it. It was the most adorable thing I’d ever seen! Please tell me you still have it!”

Fiancé: “Oh my God, yes! I promise I will never get rid of that shirt if you calm down!”
