Overdraft And Over Caring
Caller: “You need to reverse some charges on my account.”
I check their account and see they’ve been charged a fee for going into overdraft. They have also had overdraft charges cleared as a gesture three times in the past. I am physically unable to do this a fourth time. I explain this to the caller.
Caller: “I can’t believe that you’re going to do this to me! You’re such a b*stard!”
Me: “My parents were married at the time of my conception, so I’m positive I’m not a b*stard. If you’re going to try to insult me to get a legitimate charge reversed, you might want to try being accurate.”
Pause.
Caller: “You d**k!” *Click.*
Okay, that one might be accurate.
