Opposites Retract

My sister has two teen daughters. I’m visiting and they get into a verbal fight and both say some mean things.

Sister: “You two stop and apologize to each other right now or I’m sending [Niece #1] outside to play and [Niece #2] up to your room to read!” 

Both Nieces: “We’re sorry! We’re sorry!” 

Niece #1: *Goes up to her room to read.*

Niece #2: *Goes outside to play.*

Me: *To my sister.* “Lemme guess, one’s an introverted bookworm and the other is an extroverted outdoorsy type, and punishment for one is paradise for the other?”

Sister: “Hit the nail on the head.”
