(Our teacher is known for being very tough.)
Student: “[Teacher], can I go to the bathroom?”
Teacher: “I’m in the middle of a lecture; is it an emergency?”
Student: “Yes!”
Teacher: “Sucks for you, hold it until I’m done.”
(Student proceeds to take a stapler and slam it down on his hand, without flinching.)
Student: “Can I go NOW?”
Teacher: “…”
