(My girlfriend of three years and I have a mutual professor. Today, I happen by the classroom and my girlfriend starts jokingly bossing me around like she always does.)

Girlfriend: “Get out of my way!”

Professor: “I can only imagine what it’s going to be like when you’re married, and she’s pregnant and barefoot in the kitchen.”

Me: “Somehow I feel like I’m going to be the one that’s barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen.”
