On This Week’s Episode Of “Employees Are People, Too”

I work in a store. I was shopping in a different store and a customer recognized me. After I gave a slight nod of recognition and greeting to be polite, they went through the stages of confusion.

Customer: “Do you know where… What do you mean, ask someone who works… Oh, wrong store…”

It ended with:

Customer: “I guess you have to eat, too.”

Yes, I am a living human being who buys groceries at the grocery store and eats actual food.
