On A Wild Mongoose Chase

(When my friend and I were younger we used to call each other mongooses for no particular reason. I had no idea these were real animals at the time.)

Me: *rushing into friend’s house* “DUDE! Did you know the mongoose is a real animal!?”

Friend: “Wait, you didn’t?”

Me: “Uh… No I just thought it was a funny name and went along with it.”

Friend:“Oooookay, then. The more you know, I guess.”
