Not Understanding Prints-iple, Part 2

Our library’s public computers are old and often experience issues. Lately, a couple of computers will not communicate with the printer. Patrons are still able to use them to surf the Internet and write up documents. To warn those who need to print something, we’ve posted signs saying, “Will Not Print,” on the problem computers. However, some will not be deterred.

Patron: “I know the sign says it won’t print but I sent it to the printer anyway. Did it come through?”

Librarian: “No, that’s why we put the sign on it.”
