(I’m just about to leave to catch the bus into town.)

Mum: “Do you have your phone with you?”

Me: “No, I forgot to charge it. I left it upstairs.”

Mum: “What if your friends call and want to go out? How are you going to let me know?”

Me: “Think about what you just said…”
