Not-So-Smart-Phone, Part 28

(I am teaching a class and have a pet peeve about students being on their phone while I’m lecturing. I notice that a student has their phone in their hand and is not doing anything to hide the fact that he has it out.)
Me: “Why do you have your phone out?”
Student: “I don’t have my phone out.”
Me: “What’s in your hand?”
Student: *looks at hand, then back up* “My phone.”
(The rest of the class laughs.)
Me: “You worry me sometimes…”
