Not Passing With Flying Colors
(This exchange happens about five minutes into my highlighting the features, including camera and video, on a 7″ tablet device to a customer.)
Customer: “So this is in color, right?”
Me: *thinking the customer means the body of the device* “Well, right now the options I have are either a black or white body on that device.”
Customer: “No, the screen. It’s in color?”
Me: “Um… Yes, it’s an HD color display screen.”
Customer: “But if I’m reading like a book or something it’ll be in black and white?”
Me: “Sure, unless there are pictures or embedded content.”
Customer: “So it’s color?”
Me: *speechless*
