Not One Of Those Magical Moments
(My boyfriend and I have recently gotten into the card game ‘Magic: The Gathering’, and even though he has played slightly longer than me, I manage to beat him quite severely in several matches. Afterwards we sit on the couch and he falls silent, brooding for a while.)
Me: “Hey, are you okay?”
Boyfriend: *high pitched inaudible mumble*
Me: “What?”
Boyfriend: “Baaaabe, I can’t do maaaaaaaaagic!”
