Not His Kind Of People

(My husband, much to my son’s protests, has decided to let me pick the movie that the family is going to watch. My husband is trying to explain.)

Husband: “Bubba, Mommy wants to watch Harry Potter, so Mommy is going to watch Harry Potter.”

Son: “No, Dada!”

Husband: “Yes Bubba. Mommy and Dada are people, too!”

Son: “Dada, you’re not people. You’re dada.”
