Not Delivering On Brainpower

, , , , | Working | June 16, 2020

I order something online and decide to get “click and collect” from a store nearby where I work.

After waiting longer than the expected delivery time, I get in contact with the seller. They confirm that they’ve received delivery confirmation.

I head into the store and show my phone with the purchase, and the store manager goes and grabs my item.

He’s about to update his computer that the item has been collected when he notices that it hasn’t been logged as delivered.

He apologises to me and calls out to the back room, “[Employeeee]! This is the third time this has happened this month. You need to log deliveries as received.”

He looks up at me and apologises again, and I leave the store.

I can hear him having a go at his employee. I wonder how many people put bad reviews online for slow delivery because of this guy?
