Not A Very Smart-Phone

(I am in junior college. I forget to take my phone and leave it behind with my friend. It must also be noted that my friend is a bit of a scatterbrain. I have just left my best friend in the canteen and realise that I don”t have my phone with me. I start to panic and search through my stuff for it before realising that I must have left it with him. I run back to the table we were sitting at and see him laughing to himself, holding my phone.)

Me: “Thank goodness you have my phone! I thought I lost it. Why were you laughing to yourself though?”

Friend: “I saw your phone on the table so I knew you forgot about it and wanted to pass it back to you! But I didn’t know where you were. So I decided to call you. And I was sitting there wondering why you weren’t picking up and why the table kept vibrating. Then it hit me that I was calling you to tell you that your phone was with me….”
