No Sign Of An Apology

, , , | Right | August 12, 2026

I work for a company that makes signage of all kinds. We have a small walk-in shop front where people can place orders. A customer just brought in a handwritten note with a name on it. My coworker takes the order and copies what the customer had written onto our order form.

The customer sneers, turns passive-aggressive, and says:

Customer: “Maybe you need to borrow my glasses, because you missed a ‘T’ there.”

My coworker looks at her and answers:

Coworker: “I’m actually wearing lenses, and I copied your note exactly. Are you sure you didn’t miss a ‘T’ yourself?”

The customer picks up her handwritten note and inspects it. Sure enough, she’s written the name incorrectly from the start.

Customer: “Oh, you’re right.”

Predictably, she doesn’t apologise or try to make up for being horribly rude about her own mistake.

I can’t wait for my vacation to start…
