(The university has a bus service to get around the rather large campus. I’m sitting on the bus, on the way to class. This is just after the 2008 election when Obama was voted into office. I’m reading and I overhear this conversation…)
Girl #1: “So, he’s like really our president now?”
Girl #2: “No, not yet. It’s not until, like, July or something?”
Girl #1: “Oh, yeah, July 4th. Right, I remember.”
