No Longer Banned From The Dark Side

(My little brother is six when this happens. I love ‘Star Wars’ but have not been allowed to watch the films at home because Mom thinks they might be too scary for him. Finally, with her permission, we decide to watch one as a family.)

Brother: *in the middle of the movie* “It’s the camera that moves, not the ship.”

Mom: “Wait, what?”

Brother: “When they made the movie. They moved the camera around the ship.”

Mom: “You’ve never even seen the movies before! How do you know that?”

Brother: *rolls his eyes* “PBS Kids. It was on ‘Reading Rainbow.'”

(The ban was lifted that night.)
