Has No Asian Persuasion
(When I lived in the US as a teenager, there was only one other Asian besides me in class at a small school. However, I soon learn she is a jerk and everyone leaves her alone.)
Teacher: “Why don’t you bond with [Asian Classmate]? She must be feeling out of place here.”
Me: “She is pushy and complains about tiny things and is rude.”
Teacher: “But she’s Asian like you are.”
Me: “She isn’t a nice person.”
Teacher: “How can you be so racist?”
(Yet he says nothing about the others ignoring her.)
