Next Time, Wait For The Streaming Release
I’m working in a movie theater when a customer approaches me.
Customer: “Can you pause the movie so I can take my kids to the bathroom and not miss anything?”
Me: “That is not how this works, sir. I can’t do that.”
He complained to the manager who assured him that we do deeply care for the wants and needs of our customers, but we cannot pause a movie for so many reasons, mostly not messing up the schedule for the rest of the day. It’s all digital these days, team; it’s on timers that match the lights and music. We set it the week before and we DO NOT CHANGE IT — except that one time we had to add in a bunch of “Star Wars” screenings because nerds are ruthless.
