Me: “Hey, [Boss], your schedule has James down as training the new guy.”

Boss: “Yeah?”

Me: “Well, James started two weeks ago.”

Boss: “Yeah?”

Me: “Don’t you think it’s a bit soon for him to be training someone?”

Boss: “He just finished his own training, yeah?”

Me: “Literally yesterday.”

Boss: “Good! So, it’s all fresh in his mind! He’s the perfect guy to train the new guy! Makes sense! I mean, I can’t remember any of my training from when I started!”

Me: “Oh, trust me, we know.”

CORRECTION: The word ‘hiring’ has been changed to ‘training’ in the first sentence.
