Never Card-Bored

(Due to my grandmother’s recent passing, all my uncles are home. One uncle and aunt are staying with my parents and I have gone over with my children, aged four and six, to visit.)

Mom: “Hey, you want to play with these?” *gives the kids some cardboard tubes from paper towels*

(The kids proceed to use the tubes making noises, spyglasses, sword fights, etc.)

Uncle: *drinking a beer* “Man, I wish I could have that much fun with cardboard tubes.”

Me: “Keep drinking!”
