Needs A Higher Sense Of Context

(I’m in choir [soprano]. I have just came from lunch with two other members of choir and just had an impromptu rehearsal. I’m telling one of my friends about it.)

Me: So, [two tenors] and I had a rehearsal during lunch.”

Her: “It must have been really odd, having their deep voices against your high voice.”

Me: “Not really. They are tenors, you know.”

Her: “So they’re high, too?”

(Teacher comes by with paper work as I say this next thing:)

Me: “So, during lunch we were all high.”
