(I work in a busy coffee shop. On this particular morning, it is raining outside. The weather, combined with the steam from the espresso machines, has caused all the windows to fog up. A customer sitting near the windows on his computer approaches the bar.)
Customer: “You need to fix the humidity in here. It’s bothering me.”
Me: “I’m sorry, sir. I unfortunately can’t do anything to change the humidity of the store.”
Customer: “You guys are useless.” *walks away in a huff*
(I still don’t know what he expected us to do. Apparently, baristas should be able to control the weather.)
