My Mother: Trump Supporter

(I’m talking to my mom on the phone about some recent events when this happens:)

Mom: “The Supreme Court passed a new law that says all illegal immigrants have to get out of the country because there are too many terrorists here.”

Me: “Mom, you do realize that there is already a law that says they are not supposed to be here, which is why they are called illegal immigrants right?”

Mom: “Yes, but now they HAVE to leave because the Supreme Court said so. And it’s been so quiet next to [Neighbor]’s house. I bet all those [racist slur for Hispanic] left to go back to Mexico. It’s going to make us so much safer.”

Me: “If you say so, mom.”

(There is no arguing with her; I really can’t believe this woman gave birth to me!)
