Movies Are Getting Darker These Days
A woman comes out of a movie:
Customer: “The theater is too dark! I can’t see the movie.”
Me: “We have no control over the lighting other than turning it on or off, but I’ll go get the manager.”
He comes down and talks to her for a good ten minutes while she’s complaining.
Manager: “Ma’am, I can’t adjust the lighting for a room of a hundred people because only one of them is complaining.”
All the while, he was keeping a straight face and talking to her calmly with more patience than I’ve EVER seen. She finally ended up leaving with a pass for a free movie.
Ladies and gentlemen… SHE WAS WEARING SUNGLASSES THE ENTIRE TIME! My manager has the patience of a saint!
