Manager: “[Coworker], can you cover a shift tomorrow?”
Coworker: “The amount of extra work I can give you this week is directly proportional to the amount of f***s I give about this job.”
Manager: “So that’s… zero?”
Coworker: “Zero, yes.”
Manager: “Hmm, fine.” *He glances towards me.* “[My Name], can you—”
Me: “My f***s are in the negatives.”
Manager: “Ugh! Why is it so hard to find someone with a positive f*** balance!”
