Meeting That Head On
(I am fortunate to have a supervisor who doesn’t mind a little kidding around and back-talking. The following exchange happens by email to our entire group of coworkers:)
Boss: “Next Friday’s staff meeting is canceled.”
Me: “Aw. Since I’ll be out of town on business then, I was looking forward to missing it.”
Boss: “We’ll have a double meeting the following Friday.”
