Meeting Down And Dirty With Math

(I’m into both science and history, and over dinner I decide to tell my mum about a fascinating woman I recently read about.)

Me: “…her name’s Ada Lovelace, and—”

Mum: “The p*rn star?”

Me: “What?! No! She’s a mathematician from the 19th century, famous for writing the first ever computer code!”

Mum: “Oh… Well, there is a p*rn star named that, too. I was wondering why you’d know about her…”

Me: “Now I’M wondering why YOU know about her!”
